U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced new curbs to stop the spread of the omicron variant. The plan advises people to work from home and mandating the use of vaccine passports in large venues. The government, however, has been a bit distracted by the furor over a Christmas party that happened during lockdown in December of 2020.
