Biden Says U.S. Combat Mission in Iraq to End This Year

Jul.26 — President Joe Biden says U.S. military forces remaining in Iraq after the end of this year will “be available to continue to train, to assist, to help and to deal with” Islamic State terrorists as needed. “But we are not going to be by the end of the year in a combat mission,” Biden said in the Oval Office Monday.
